I became involved in medical education early during my residency, first as a lecturer for national board exam preparation (ECNi/EDN), and later as the lead coordinator of the SUrVIS project (In Situ Simulation of Life-Threatening Emergencies).
Through the UPPERS research unit, I now aim to combine training and research in medical education.
Why education?
Because passing on our experience lies at the very heart of what it means to be a healthcare professional.
