Dr. Enrique Perez is an Associate Professor and Hospital Practitioner (MCU-PH) at UPC and a hepatogastroenterologist at the Georges Pompidou European Hospital. Specializing in interventional endoscopy, his research in medical education focuses on developing new 3D-printed learning tools for complex endoscopic procedures. Designed for both experts and residents, he developed and created an endoscopic ultrasound-guided hepaticogastrostomy anastomosis simulator in collaboration with three second-year master’s students.
